FACEIT Login and Matchmaking Region QA From a US Mobile IP

FACEIT runs competitive ladders and tournaments for several games, and the region a player is placed in, the servers offered, and the verification steps on sign-in all take cues from the network. Tournament organizers, team staff and support people outside the US sometimes need to see the US side of that honestly. 4G Proxies USA rents a real US carrier line for a day at four dollars: a dedicated SIM in one of eight US cities, only your traffic, unlimited data for ordinary use, free address changes. This page is about what you can legitimately check on it.

What is worth checking from a US line

Sign-in to your own account from a US carrier address, and whether a new-location email or a two-step prompt appears. The region and server list offered to a US player when you open matchmaking, and the ping shown to each. The page that offers the anti-cheat client download and what it says to a US visitor. The shop, the premium tiers in US dollars, and the tournament hub pages for events that are US-only, which you may be running or supporting.

Every one of those is a look, not an action, and all of them fit comfortably in a day pass.

Organizers running a US-only event have a specific need: confirming that the hub page, the registration form and the rules page are reachable and readable for the players the event is for, on the device most of them will use to sign up. A carrier line in one of our eight cities gives that view for the cost of a coffee, and the same session confirms that the bracket and match pages render on a narrow screen once the event is under way.

What the line is not for

Do not use a US address to enter a region-locked tournament you are not eligible for, to create a second account, to come back from a ban, or to hide anything from the anti-cheat. FACEIT's rules on identity and fair play are strict for good reason and we back them. If we learn that a line is being used for smurfing or ban evasion, we release it under our acceptable-use terms.

Latency, honestly stated

A proxy adds a hop before the carrier network. The ping FACEIT shows you from our line is your route to our modem plus the carrier's path to the game server. For a region check that is fine; for judging what a US player feels in a match, note the first hop separately or run the test from near the city you chose. Our 4G lines usually run at 20 to 45 Mbps depending on signal, which is plenty for the web app and for a game client.

If you want a cleaner latency reading, buy the line in the city nearest to you and to the game servers you care about, and test outside the US evening peak, when carrier networks in large cities are busiest. The number you get is still a proxy number, but it is a fair one.

Setting it up

For the web side, a clean browser profile with the HTTP endpoint is enough. For the client, set the proxy at the system level on a test machine, or wrap the process with a SOCKS5 tool; the game's own match traffic is UDP, which our SOCKS5 endpoint carries. Confirm the public address belongs to the carrier before you sign in, and keep it sticky for the whole session, since a changing address during a login is a reasonable thing for a platform to challenge.

Price and cities

Four dollars for 4G, five for 5G, for twenty-four hours. The hourly plan is two dollars for two hours when a quick region check is all you need. Lines sit in New York, Boston, North Carolina, Miami, Houston, Chicago, Phoenix and Los Angeles on AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon. Moves between cities are free from the dashboard.

Setting up a FACEIT proxy on 4G Proxies USA

  1. Buy a day pass and choose the city and carrier that match the players you support.
  2. Enter the proxy in a fresh browser profile; for the client, set it at system level on a test machine.
  3. Confirm the address, sign in to your own account, and note any verification prompt.
  4. Open matchmaking and record the regions, servers and ping offered to a US player.
  5. Load the hub pages, the shop and the client download page, then close the session.

FACEIT proxy questions

Can I play matches through the line?

On your own account, for a short test, yes. Anything that touches eligibility, bans or second accounts is out, and the anti-cheat sees what it sees.

Will FACEIT ask me to verify from a new address?

It may; that is a platform doing its job. Keep the address sticky through the session and complete the prompt on your own account.

Is this for ban evasion?

No. Lines used that way are released under our acceptable-use terms.
